Cold formed hollow shafts for passenger car and truck applications
Our process ensures an economical manufacturing process for high production volumes through optimal material usage (no drilling on hollowed shafts). The near net shape end contour extrusion and minimal machining stock in comparison to hot forging parts result in reduced machining costs for our customers.
The production of the assembly ready profile contours (inner / outer) are possible through a combination of final manufacturing processes (i.e. rotary swaging, broaching, etc.). In addition, subsequent machining and advanced soft turning with modern CNC technologies are our day-to-day business as per customer request.
