Terry Iwasaki

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Corporate Controller

In her role as chief financial officer, corporate controller and treasurer, Terry Iwasaki provides comprehensive financial direction and guidance to the corporation in achieving revenue growth, profitability and cash flow goals through worldwide cash and debt management, tax planning and analysis, risk management. Her responsibilities include leading the development of Metaldyne's annual and long-range plans, global capital market activities and capital investments, as well as assembling sound financial controls and policies to adequately safeguard the company's assets and accurately report results.

Since 1996, Ms. Iwasaki has served Metaldyne in many roles. Prior to her current position, Ms. Iwasaki was Metaldyne's VP of Finance, Commercial Operations. In this role, she was responsible for many areas, including revenue growth through contract administration of material cost recoveries, capital investment management, in addition to monitoring and evaluating credit of vendors and customers. Before this, Ms. Iwasaki worked as group controller for Metaldyne's Engine Products and Hydraulic Controls Group, after working for Metaldyne as a plant controller and then division controller.  

Prior to joining Metaldyne, Ms. Iwasaki worked as a controller for the former MascoTech, and Ishikawa Gasket America, Inc., a U.S. subsidiary of a Japanese automotive components supplier.  Ms Iwasaki started her career as a financial advisor and licensed stock broker with American Express.

Ms. Iwasaki holds a Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, with additional studies at Konan University in Kobe, Japan, and Walsh College.

Ms. Iwasaki is located at the Metaldyne corporate headquarters in Plymouth, Michigan.
