Dr. Juergen Christian Depp

As vice president of advanced engineering, Dr. Juergen Christian Depp is responsible for the advanced engineering, product development and innovation for the overall Metaldyne LLC company, as well as the application engineering for the Vibration Control Products group.

Previously, Dr. Depp served as vice president, Sales and Engineering, Vibration Control Products. In this role, he was responsible for marketing, sales and product engineering for the Group’s products in Europe.

Dr. Depp joined Metaldyne in 2004 as managing director of Metaldyne International Deutschland GmbH, the Powertrain Group’s Technical Center in Dieburg, Germany (near Frankfurt).

Before joining Metaldyne, Dr. Depp spent four years as a product engineer and project manager at Metzeler, a German-based manufacturer of anti-vibration systems.

He also spent six years at Palsis, where he began as key account manager and later served as general manager.

Dr. Depp also served as managing director of engineering and sales at Winkelmann Palsis Motortechnik, a leading manufacturer of engine components and metal-formed parts in Europe.

Dr. Depp received his degrees (Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing.) in mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany.

Dr. Depp works out of Metaldyne's technical center in Dieburg, Germany.
