Robert J. DeFauw

Vice President and General Manager, Powertrain Products

In his position as Vice President and General Manager, Driveline & BSM Products, Bob DeFauw oversees the operations of plants in Fremont, Ind., Bluffton, Ind., Twinsburg, Ohio, and Pyeongtaek, S. Korea.

Most recently Mr. DeFauw served as Vice President and General Manager of Vibration Control Products (VCP) where he oversaw production in plants in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.

Mr. DeFauw has held various management roles at Metaldyne including Director of Powertrain Operations and Plant Manager of Metaldyne's Middleville facility.

Prior to joining Metaldyne, Mr. DeFauw held several operations and supervisory positions at Eaton Corp. including product line manager for the company's heavy duty engine valve group, quality manager and manufacturing services manager for the Engine Components and Air Controls Div.

He holds a bachelor of science degree in Industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan and has a master's degree in management and supervision from Central Michigan University.

Mr. DeFauw works out of Metaldyne's headquarters in Plymouth, Michigan.
